Technical Project Manager(OSS product)

Job Description​

  • Management of OSS product development team (multi-national team).

  • Translate abstract requirements from the Product Owner and business side into development tasks and create milestones for the development team.

  • Act as a hub between the business side and the engineering side, coordinating development details, schedules, resource management, etc..

  • Estimate and define requirements for new development items.

Requirements​

  • At least 1 year of experience in a technical management position such as PM or Scrum Master.

  • At least 1 year of working experience in web application development or knowledge of web application development at the level of passing the basic Information Technology Engineer Examination (or equivalent).

  • Must be a native Japanese speaker.

  • Experience with translating abstract requirements from the Product Owner and business side into development tasks and creating milestones.

Welcome Skills​

  • Extensive work experience as a web engineer. PM or development experience in products dealing with GIS (Geographic Information Systems).

  • Experience working in a team structure with diverse backgrounds, including languages and cultures.

  • Experience in product development using agile methodologies.

  • Experience in upstream processes such as man-hour estimation and requirement definition.
