The Shinobazu Cultural Information Utilization Project is a joint research project between the University of Tokyo's Interfaculty Initiative in Information Studies and Toppan Printing Co., Ltd. with the aim of utilizing and promoting cultural information. Eukarya cooperated in the development of a new digital map visualization system that superimposes old maps and modern maps into this project, which is centered on the Ueno/Hongo area in Tokyo's Taito and Bunkyo wards. The visualization system has also been applied to the OSS project "Liquid Galaxy" by Google and others, as well as an AR (iOS) application.
