Xu Cong committed to exploring the technological development of its own logic. He studies the detailed and profound influence of the media technology represented by the Internet, trying to think in an environment that is more and more indistinguishable from the real and the virtual. He explores new possibilities for artistic expression by using computer algorithm and software program. His works, including device, video and interactive program, were exhibited in and out art museum, so more people could be involved.

After graduation from university, he is committed to the popularization of vvvv, a hybrid visual/textual live-programming environment. Now, a workshop and some training courses are set up in the university and institution.
